At merely 3 lb, human brain is the most vital organ in your body. It uses 20 percent of the oxygen and blood in your body.
It has over 100 100 billion neurons that connect at more than 500 trillion points through synapses that travel 300 miles/hour. It can processes 70,000 thoughts each day. About 75 percent of the brain is made up of water. This means that dehydration, even in small amounts, can have a negative effect on the brain functions.
